You can make a payment easily and securely online using our WorldPay integrated system. Simply enter your details into the form, and click “Pay Securely” to continue. Payments are accepted in pounds and pence (GBP). When you use this system, you do not need to transfer to AllPay, and you will be emailed a receipt upon completion containing proof of your payment.

We take your online safety and security seriously. For this reason we do not store your payment card information. Our website is secured, meaning the connection between you and our website is fully encrypted. Additionally, by partnering with WorldPay – one of the largest secure payment processing companies in the world – you can be assured of complete safety.

Refunds

It is rare to require a refund but in the unlikely event that you require one for any reason, please contact admin@bridgewaterha.org.uk stating your reasons for requesting it as well as your Full name, address and post code.

Pay another way

For your convenience a wide variety of payment methods are available for paying your rent or owners’ bills.

Customers wishing to make a card payment over the phone can take advantage of the flexibility of the 24-hour Allpay payments line on 0844 557 8321 (calls cost 7p/min plus your phone company’s access charge).

It is now possible to pay rent or owner common charges online.

We are committed to providing many different payment methods for our customers, with a focus on both security and convenience. You can choose one or a combination of methods to suit you and your lifestyle commitments.


You can pay using your Credit/Debit card with our free app available on Google Play and Apple Store. Other services are also available on our app.

You can make a card payment using Allpay’s mobile app available on Google Play and Apple Store. You will require your 19-digit reference from your allpay card.


You can make a Cash or Debit/Credit Card payment using your allpay card at any shop outlets displaying the paypoint sign.

Local paypoints can be found at:
Spar, Bargarran Shopping Centre, Barrhill Road
Park Mains Grocers, Park Glade
Bobby’s Bargains, Inchinnan

However other paypoints are available You can also pay by cash or card along with your allpay card at any Post Office.


You can make an over the phone payment using allpay’s 24-hour automated telephone line on 0844 557 8321. You will need your 19-digit reference from your allpay card as well as your Debit/Credit card(Calls cost 7 pence per minute plus your phone company’s access charge).

Make a Debit/Credit card payment with our new self-service payment terminal at the reception. Simply follow the on-screen instructions.


If you are a tenant, you can set up a regular Direct Debit by simply calling our main office on 0141 812 2237. NOTE only Tenants can pay using Direct Debit.

Both owners and tenants can set up Standing Orders. We can send a form for you to complete and return to your bank, or alternatively you can set up a standing order through your internet banking or calling into your bank with the following information.. Our Sort code is 83 26 22 : Our account number is 00139327. It is essential that you quote the correct account number as your reference. Only this number should be used – no name or part address etc. If you are unsure, please call us and we will be happy to provide this to you. However, please note that if electing to pay via Standing Order, you will be responsible for changing the amounts with the bank to reflect any increase in rent or owner occupier charges.

Send a Cheque or Postal Order into the office (please write your Account Number on the back of your cheque or postal order).


Tenants can use Allpay swipe cards to pay their rent.

Your swipe card gives you the freedom to pay your house rent or garage rent at a wide range of retail outlets including any Post Office, Pay Point outlets free of charge. It also enables you to make payments when the office is closed as a number of these outlets are opened late in the evening or on Sunday’s.

There are at least three outlets in Erskine, the Spar and the Post Office at Bargarran Shopping Centre,  and the Post Office at Mains Drive. Participating payment outlets can be found throughout the country.

If you want to make a payment using your card, simply take your card along to one of these outlets. Take it to the counter together with your payment and you will then be given a printed receipt as proof of payment which your should keep in a safe place.

If you rent both a house and a garage you should have a separate Swipe Card for each. Each Swipe Card has a unique number which links to the relevant tenant number.

Allpay have introduced a new mobile phone application available to download from the Apple App Store and the Android Market for customers’ Apple or Android smartphone. You will need an Allpay card to download the app and use the service. If you do not have an Allpay card, contact our office on 0141 812 2237 and we will arrange to send you one

If your rent is paid by Housing Benefit, this will not change. We will continue to receive Housing Benefit Payments on your behalf from Renfrewshire Council.


Direct Debits

One of the ways that we can collect your rent is by Direct Debit. To explain how you can take advantage of this service, we have set out some questions and answers below which we hope will help you decide if Direct Debit is for you. It takes around 12 working days for each new Direct Debit to be set up, so if you decide to change to this method of payment, please contact us as soon as you can.



Direct Debit is a popular and widely used way to pay on-going commitments such as rent, fuel bills and so on. It allows payments to be deducted from your bank account and sent direct to the organisation you want to pay.


You sign a mandate giving permission for your bank to debit payments from your account, and transfer them to us at Bridgewater Housing Association. Payments are collected on a monthly basis.


You simply ask us to give you a Direct Debit Mandate, which you then sign and return to us. We do the rest. Please remember to include your tenant number which can be found on your rent increase letter. The Direct Debit payment scheme is operated by an external company, allpay.net Limited, on our behalf. You will receive a letter from them advising you when the Direct Debit will start, and how much your payments will be. In the meantime, you should continue to pay your rent in the normal way.


Your rent charge is debited to your account on the 29th of each month. You should arrange for your direct debit to be paid to us as close to this date as possible to prevent you from falling into arrears. If you are unable to set up a direct debit around this date, please contact your Housing Officer to arrange alternative payment dates.


Direct Debits automatically change the amount being collected if your rent increases or decreases. There is no need for you to advise your bank as you would do with Standing Orders. We will recalculate the payment and notify you of the new amounts before they are collected. However, you should remember that you are always in control of your money.


Allpay.net will collect your payments. It will be their name that appears on your bank statements. All rent collected is paid over to Bridgewater Housing Association and will show on your rent account the following day.


All Banks and Building Societies taking part in the Direct Debit Scheme offer the guarantee. The efficiency and security of the Schemes monitored are protected by your own Bank and Building Society.

If the amount to be paid or the payment dates change, allpay.net will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.

If an error is made by allpay.net Limited or your Bank or Building Society, you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your Branch of the amount paid.

You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by writing to your Bank or Building Society. Please also send a copy of the letter to us.



If you currently pay your rent by Standing Order and want to change to Direct Debit, you will need to cancel your current Standing Order with your Bank or Building Society. You should only do this when you receive your letter confirming that your Direct Debit payment has been set up.


There is no need to do anything. We will continue to receive Housing Benefit payments on your behalf from the Council.

If you get partial Housing Benefit and have something to pay every month, then you might want to consider whether Direct Debit would suit you.



You can pay your rent by telephone through Allpay. Interactive Voice Response or IVR is an automated computerised system that allows you to make rent payments, by telephone 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

This service works in complete harmony with all other payment methods from allpay and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
