Land Engineering Takeover

The Association were informed on Wednesday morning, 31st May 2017, that Land Engineering (Scotland) Ltd went into receivership on the 30th May 2017. We were informed that the part of Land Engineering that delivers our landscape maintenance has been taken over by a company called ‘idverde’.
We have been assured by idverde that Land Engineering’s former operatives will continue to maintain the landscaping. We will closely monitor performance to ensure that there is no drop in the excellent standards that we are used to and can confirm that these changes will not involve an increase in costs for the Association or its factored owners. The current landscape contract will continue until July 2018 when Bridgewater is obliged to retender it.
Unfortunately we have not been informed yet of the situation with the car park and footpath resurfacing/repairs contract which is also with Land Engineering but separate from the landscaping. All works in this contract including the lining works have been put on hold until this issue is resolved.
We apologise for any inconvenience however we are doing everything we can in difficult circumstances to minimise any disruption to residents. The information we have at the moment is limited but if you have anything you would like to ask us please contact our Factoring Officer, Ian Munro, to discuss.
