We are ambitious for the Association and for Erskine and we are a valued partner of Renfrewshire Council, East Renfrewshire Council, Inverclyde Council and the Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership. The relationship with our tenants and good customer service is at the heart of what we do, and we are seeking to appoint suitably qualified members to our voluntary Board.

We are looking for individuals to serve on the Board who can demonstrate the following

  • A commitment to supporting the local communities that Bridgewater engages with or the needs of our service users through the provision and development of high-quality housing and housing-related services, and
  • A willingness to work as a member of a team that has responsibility for directing the work of the organisation.

We will reimburse out-of-pocket expenses, including childcare and travel costs for attending meetings. We also provide induction training together with supporting ongoing personal development. As well as helping to improve the lives of others, you will be contributing to an organisation committed to improving the quality of life of its customers and communities.

Time commitment – The Board normally meets eight times a year, usually on a Wednesday evening between 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm, with an additional strategy planning event once a year and occasional training sessions.

These meetings are in person with the option to attend remotely by Teams.
